About

Dr. Ian Mayne is an Orthopaedic Surgeon practicing at North York General Hospital and certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

Dr. Mayne specializes in both sports medicine and shoulder & elbow surgery, performing such procedures as ACL reconstruction, achilles tendon repair, rotator cuff repair, shoulder replacement, shoulder stabilization and elbow and knee arthroscopy. He also has a special interest in upper extremity tears including distal biceps & triceps and pectoralis major tendon repairs.

As a former NCAA Division 1 athlete he is uniquely positioned to provide the best possible care to athletes and those looking to get back to an active lifestyle.
